How can I open, edit and save MESHWORLD files?

I've been messing around with Hamsterball for a while, and wanted to try my luck with levels, see if I could make something neat.

I managed to switch Intermediate and Warm-up maps with simple renaming, accidentally making Intermediate's moving bridge spawn inside Warm-Up's geometry (I mean I can hear it opening and closing, I couldn't see it though). I figure that the game loads the meshes by prefix.

There's also a 3DSMax script to detach meshes? I have no idea how to use it, considering I never touched 3DSMax, and I'm pretty much forced to enter my phone number just to download the free trial and see by myself, soooooo not yet.

I assume I should try with 3DSMax but I wanted to see if I could get a second opinion lol

  • I think MESHWORLD is a format made for Hamsterball, so not something 3DSMax would read.
