@azaelrdz,Thankyou! It makes me happy you like my levels! I hope you like the new ones too, and there's a possibility some (or all) of the old ones might show back up in the new version. Thanks for playing! p.s. I agree about the lava walking and tri…

Great! And about funding, if the Official Beta app itself cost something, that would be cool with me. But like Fnanfne said, we could help with the ad clicking. Maybe there could be a specific ad place that we could click through a bunch in our down…

You're welcome @kyleseglin! :) Well, each level maker is given a couple of stars and when you level up (by making levels and people liking them) you get a couple more per level. If you find levels you really like you can give them a star.Star levels …

@kyleseglin, I posted an answer on the other thread where you asked. :)

The coin box is the new bitcoin door. Collect all the coins and the coin door opens. The lever changes the direction of the conveyor belt.

Oh, and Megaman, which really is one of the best crafted games of all-time (just like the video you posted argues), is not a glitch-free game.
-
@raptisoft,That's a great video (and I've always been a huge fan of Megaman, from the beginning). One of the comments he makes repeatedly too I think is poignant. He repeatedly talks about developers underestimating their players and not recognizing …

@raptisoft,You're talking about that last of the short vids, right? It kind of looks like it, but the robot isn't actually going through the floor. He's actually pressed up against the side, but still in the open space of the barrier. There is no ac…

Oh, about the crystal number not being displayed. On my device, when I have 2 or 3, I can actually see the very bottom of the number at the top of the screen, like the number is high above the crystal and almost completely off screen.Just in case th…

@fnanfne,Thank you for the kind words! I'm so glad you like that level. If we get the lava walking back I'm make you an Idle Hands II.:)
-
Yeah, I agree with @fnanfne,I never thought of the lava walking as a glitch. It seems in most games where a moment of invincibility happens things like this are the norm. I think a lot of players instinctively test the boundaries of their invincibil…

@raptisoftYour right about it not being in other games, but I think that is what seems to fascinate everyone about it. It's special. Yes, in most games there's some one way barrier, it does what it's supposed to do and no one is ultimately impressed…

Update: I found a work around. It seems when I try to paint over the velcro blocks that have reverted (with any paint set, even lava) they turn back to single velcro blocks, with the new graphic (but each one an individual square). I can then select…
-
@raptisoft,I was just making a level that used a lot of velcro blocks and after a bit the blocks have reverted to the older velcro block (the second gen grid block, not the first gen one) and it seems there's no way to make them into the new version…

@raptisoft,I just wanted to mention that the issue on my device with adding comments - where the comment bubble is far too high, almost off the screen and I can't see what I'm typing - is back. It was gone a few updates ago, probably the first updat…

That sounds great!Looking forward to all of it.:)

Yeah, swipe texting (or swype) is where you drag your finger over the keyboard and the pattern drawn determines the word. It was never an iphone thing (although I think there may be some way to do it on an iphone now, in the past it wasn't possible)…
-
Also, I just noticed in the beta 4 that I can now see the text bubble when typing comments on levels, which is cool, but on my device it also summons the home button row which covers some button I can only see the very edge of (and can't select). I'…

@raptisoft I just posted the best example I could find on the RWK beta 3 thread. Also, I just realized and then tested to see if there was a work around, but another thing lost from the barriers not being "sticky" is the ability to enter a teleport…
-
@raptisoftOk, it took some hunting, but I did find a clip of the wallstick thing. The clip I found is actually the opposite example of the one I described. This one is jumping into a barrier against the wall from below. This one is a little trickier…
-
@raptisoftYeah, there really were two aspects to the barriers that were really usefull. One was rocketing into it and kind of sticking and slowly falling. The wallstick was when the robot was facing a barrier that descended a wall, rocketing into it…
-
I also see you got rid of the shot panels remaining once they've been melted. It's another thing that adds a lot to the game. But since you don't like things that behave in ways unintended, could you add a standard brick that is visible but passable?…
-
Also, would it be hard to set all of the block to the "paint" mode? Some block, like bricks, the new slow block, etc. have a touch per block thing going on.It would definitely be easier on level creators to be able to cover an area more effeciently.
-
The slow falling is really cool. There will be lots of cool things to do with that. I like the new green barrier too, but when rocketing into it we still hit it just like it's any wall. That also makes the wallstick of the old barriers not work. Wou…

These additions sound fantastic. I'm going after the beta 3 right after this. Scripting would be amazing. I'm totally for that. That could make for some really cool RWK levels.Fantastic work as always.

The conveyor belts are really cool. Very nice addition! I hesitate to even mention it, but there's a really cool effect when using the conveyor belts and the bump pad (also cool). It creates a sort of ice-block effect. Please don't remove it, it's c…

It seems like it would be a much easier fix to just add an "expert only" tag to levels, then we'd all clearly mark our levels that use glitches. You've already added tags to levels it seems, so it seems unlikely that someone new to the game would att…
-
@fnanfne, yeah, I thought some of my levels probably used that too, but I couldn't actually remember. Ha.I does effect quite a few levels.
-
Also, this isn't a bug, but I've always been in favor of a self-destruct, or something like the "return to checkpoint" in Hoggy.I know the falling/burning up thing was added and that helps when falling out of a level (even though on my device it doe…
-
@kyleseglin,I totally agree. I think if there is any "fixing" of bugs, it would be best to get the actual destructive ones and not the ones that add exciting elements to the gameplay.Yeah, if we could get the teleporter crystal bug fixed, that would…
