I've been hunting for the fabled +2 ring for so long now. Anyone know a good way to farm them or have a copy of their scavenger64.dat file with one in there?
It is definitely possible to get +2 rings. I have gotten three of them by farming imps. The More Drops perk increases the chance as well as the quality of the rings, so try to push to the furthest Unholy you can without the danger of dying. Make sure you use frost jet, which is essential for farming. Then, you would get at least 3 rare rings per minute by farming imps (note that flame walls always spawn in the direction you are facing, so you could stand still and fire in one direction). Even though farming rings by using +3 rings and dying is the fastest way to farm rings, farming imps from Unholies are definitely the way to go to get good rings.
I will however not share a copy of my scavenger file, since I want everyone to have the same experience. However, make sure to save your scavenger file after you got the ring, you wouldnt want to lose it. Good luck in grinding!
