Unable to play steam version

"ello there, haven't posted in a while, hope you all are doing well, just wanted to say that there's a fairly severe glitch with the Hoggy 2 game on Steam.
Once you boot it up, and press play, an error box pops up which says "Runtime error!", I've included the full screenshot below:

Then if you press OK it crashes, and you're unable to play.
Doesn't just happen on my computer too, and on the steam discussion it looks like I'm not alone in this department.

This is rather urgent as the game is literally unable to be played on PC!

    This has been happening ever since Raptisoft rolled out the "Level Link" update to PC back in December 2019/January 2020. It affects everyone. It's like they copied the mobile version over to PC and just expected it to work. I've had to stick with the previous PC version but I'd really like for Raptisoft to fix this (especially because they're gonna get a lot of angry Steam customers if they don't). 

    Anyway, this version has two issues: 
    - Pressing Play results in a Runtime Error crash
    - Pressing Test in the level editor results in a crash 

    Raptisoft gave us a fix for the Play crash but the editor crash has no fix. 

    Okay, well, for him to get it working again, this is what I recommend... 
    Copy "mylevels" (%appdata%\roaming\hoggy2) somewhere else 
    Uninstall 
    Reinstall clean, without clouding from Steam 
    And put mylevels back in place

    @TheDorkLord this has been happening for a year now... Could you please ask John if he can roll out a fix?
