Idea for tomes and books

Tomes or books aren't really new thing in Solomon game because there are those free skill point tomes in boneyard. In SKUME, tomes will be used like a consumable item like potions to increase your skill point or other stuff. Considering that adding too much skill in a skill tree may make players to get the right skill they desire(based on Mr. Raptis' previous comment), it would be nice to use tomes as a method to add new unique skills that can be learned through tomes without adding any new skills in the skill tree. Here are some idea for the tomes and books that I made up:

1. Support for Dummies: Gain +1 Tranquil Pulse; This item is given at the start of co-op game.

Tranquil Pulse: Release a pulse which heals 20% of max health and 3 second 50% movement speed buff to all allied character. 120 second cooldown

2. Sirmin's Legacy: Gain +1 Acid Rain, Acid Rain is added to skill tree upon reading this.

3. Tome of Blood: Gain +1 Bloodborn, Bloodborn is added to skill tree upon reading this.
Bloodborn: Player cannot drink potions but heals his portion of health and mana for each successful attack. 
4. Tome of Pestilence: Gain +1 Plagued One. Plagued One is added to skill tree upon reading this.

Plagued One: Poison damage immunity. Health Regen*-1. Deal damage to all enemies nearby based on health regen

5. Tome of Taxation: Gain +1 Demonic Tax. Demonic Tax is added to skill tree upon reading this.

Demonic Tax: Send portion of your gold earned to a tax demon. After paying certain amount of tax, you gain +1 on a random skill. 

6. Tome of Death: Gain +1 Death's Door. Death's Door is added to skill tree upon reading this.

Death's Door(active): Gain few seconds of immunity to all attacks. Player loses all barrier health and get only 1 health left when death's door expires.

7. Economicon: Double the gold player has and lose one point of random skill. Dose not consume upon reading this.

8. The Book of A Hundred Madness: Swap all skill you have with random skills(this include some other class' skill). +1 on all skills.

9. Vile Spells Forbade: +1 on 3 random necromancer skills, +2 Demonic Tax,  +1 Externally Complicated World Merge Spell; Add all skill except ECWMS to skill tree.

Externally Complicated World Merge Spell: Spell so complicated that your puny brain cannot understand it. Does nothing. 

10. Lace! The Scarlet Witch's Stocking: Makes Solomon to comment on your vulgar appetite when reading this. Reading this does not consume the book.

11. Sermon for Dummies: +1 Sleepy Recital and add Sleepy Recital in skill tree.

Sleepy Recital(active): Put enemies nearby to sleep. Attacking the sleeping enemies will wake them up.

12. Book of Infestation: +1 Mass Infestation and add Mass Infestation in skill tree.

Mass Infestation(active): Apply infestation debuff to all nearby enemies. If enemy dies before debuff expires, it spawns friendly spider that lasts shot period of time.

  • 13. Book of Riot Control: +1 on Wild Vortex and add Wild Vortex to skill tree.

    Wild Vortex: Create a vortex which sucks all enemies into the center of vortex nearby after 1 seconds. Does no damage.

    14. Golemjitsu for Dummies: +1 Golem Smash, +1 Golem Leap, add both skills into skill tree.

    Golem Smash: Golem periodically slams the ground, dealing damage to nearby enemy and stunning them breifly

    Golem Leap: Golem periodically leaps toward enemies and deal small area damage and apply taunt.
