Possible bug in Solomon's keep magic cupboard

I'm on Android note 8 phone running latest update of Android (7.1 I believe). When I put an item in the magic cabinet I am unable to retrieve them from either the current save or another save at this time. Not sure if this was posted already but a cursory look at the site I wasn't able to find it mentioned so here it is

    Nope, this is first mention.  Does it give you a message when you try to retrieve them, or does it simply not show you the items?

    I'm experiencing the same thing.  Android 6.0.1, Nexus 5.

    I started a new game and I can see the items I placed in the cabinet.  They are both "surreal".  Tapping on either selects it (green outline, effects listed).  Tapping the same item again deselects it.
