Audio Volume Settings Won't Save

Since one of the major IOS upgrades, I haven't been able to lower the volume settings and save them.  Whenever I leave the app and return, they're set to full blast again.  Is this a bug that won't be fixed, or is there something I can do?

    Hi, I'll look into this when I get a chance-- but I'll admit, keeping up with Apple's constant breaking of code is a bit much!  My intention at this time is to instead concentrate on writing a sequel after Solomon's Keep is done-- the devices have changed a LOT since I wrote RwK and they're capable of a lot more now.
