Error upon launching

Nepoleon
in Hamsterball
Hamsterball will not run on my computer.
Once I launch it, it gets halfway through the loading screen but then gives me this:
Error: Access violation at 0x004D26F9 (tried to read from 0x00000000), program terminated.
Running it in compatibility mode makes it worse, as it fails to load shadow.png and then gives me the exact same error.
I am running windows 7 and got the game from Big Fish Games
Please help

    Drop a line to us at our contact page (www.raptisoft.com/contact).  Include your BigFish receipt and just say it doesn't work, and you'd like a copy of the Raptisoft version.
