Around how many kills is it before bosses show up?

I bought the boss monsters fate earlier but I haven't gotten a boss yet. How far in is it that bosses show up? I don't make it very far normally so I probably just haven't gotten far enough.

I make it to about 2,500 kills and no bosses. So I'm unsure and curious about it too.

I made over 2000 kills in both beta 2 and 3, 6-7 times, and still no sign of a boss.

Came here to bring this up too. Level 34, 2k+ kills, no boss spawns
