Oh, and more specific updates: RwK is still "waiting for review" at Apple. If they don't reject it for some reason, I think you can expect a release either late Monday or early Tuesday. On that I'll keep you posted.
-
Not for now, no. I might take a week between projects to put one or the other out, but sadly with the phone resizings that have happened in the last few years, these aren't just "ports" any more, but are rather whole screen redesigns (since I coded…

@fnafne: 1) Will be fixed in the update 2) Intended. The premise of "kill yourself, then use the immortality time to bypass an obstacle" is a player-hostile exploit that can cause new players to abandon the game (or write me e-mails telling me som…

@war2k in this case he's switching to a new account, so I have no control over Google's maintenance of what is and isn't bought-- to them it's a whole new account. Also, Google doesn't have a restore call, it's automagic. On Apple it literally w…

I don't mind! Just put something that references the original game so that maybe I get some traffic from it, and it's all good.
-
Earlier last year I was considering porting Hamsterball over so that it could come out for mobile as well, but currently I'm so far behind that I no longer considering it-- Chuzzle 2 and Solomon's Keep Ultimate Metal Edition are now in the pipeline …

Well, if you'd like code, I can do that... they just won't persist beyond an uninstall, and you'd have to hit me up each time.
-
Thanks... I'll see what I can do about this.
-
Hi Fipps... I bet Google can do this. I could generate codes for you to have no ads on another account, but those codes aren't tied to google, so they get vanished if you uninstall the game. But I bet if you just approach Google they have some kin…

Oh... hm, okay, #20, I'll put that into the update. I think I actually never even tested that case, heh.
-
It will... BUT, probably some of it is just a matter of replacing, say, one way walls with the sticky walls. But one reason for me not converting the old levels myself is because too much reliance on glitches and errors renders them gone. However,…

Apple has been REALLY fast lately on approval. There is probably a decent chance that they'll approve it sometime tomorrow and I can release it. Otherwise, it'll be Monday. I'll still be leaving the old Kitty Connect level sharing up for about a …

A note: On one of my devices this works perfectly... on the other, it seems to randomly decide whether the screen should be moved so an obscured textbox is made visible. So tap several times, if you please... I would like to know if it EVER works o…

#20: At the top of your list should be a "refine search" button, no? #21: I'll put it in the notes for the update... I'm too far on overtime now, it's bugs only from this point on. #22: I'll probably leave that for now... I don't think that can be u…

Any new blocks I add will go into the update. I'm already beyond overdue on this. It'll go out as is, as soon as I can see about these soft keyboard issues (thankfully, I can manifest them).
-
Sadly, I can't recompile Hamsterball any more... SOMETHING I did in that code makes it completely incompatible with Visual Studio 2010 (the only version I am able to locate any more).
-
SomeRandom, are you on the latest version? It is possible that Makermall is sending you some data that is not current. BTW, pointing out that Love and Rockets breaks with the exploding brick thing was the most persuasive thing you could have said …

Virtually every old level will require some amount of tweaking because so many of them take advantage of bugs, so I'm not worried about that. Too many new gameplay opportunities opened up with the mechanism.
-
What is "swipe texting," is that where you swipe to get the word suggestions? My games kinda "fake" the keyboard, they only receive keypresses. I'd have to read up on how to intercept those swipes. As far as I know, because I have read up on this…

Hey... okay Fomb, now I see the wall-sticking. I don't want to combine that with a permeable wall-- but I have a GREAT idea for a powerup + new wall type that will allow this same behavior without forcing the player know all the "insider informatio…

No problem Fomb, I love all my users and I try to make them happy. When there's conflict between my personal obsessive desire for order and a user's incomprehensible desire to have bugs in the game, I try to find a solution. ;) I still don't under…

@war2K are you for sure on the newest version (has slow-falling blocks etc?). After making that change from your link, my android no longer has the problem even randomly, so it must fix SOME of the issue, at least. Either way, I actually have a St…

That too is something I'll put on my update do-list, since I'm at a critical point here time-wise. I'd have to add in a whole process to get to it, since there's no mechanism at all for that right now.
-
BTW, if the green permeable wall acted kinda like glue-- in that you'd "stick" at whatever height you are embedded in it, without falling (i.e. no gravity) would that simulate the wall-stick?
-
Yes, I can add that. But in an update, because it's already Jan 17th, and if I can get the Boneyard update out by the end of January, I will "only" be a month behind (the main problem with adding new bricks at this point is that the brick screen is…

FOMB: Explain to me what wallstick was? The bug that allowed one to go through the old walls was in the robot, not in the walls, so I can't fix it in one place but not someplace else (at least not easily). But if you can describe the behavior, I m…

Hm... hey War2K that might be something... it might be that it's Android auto-moving the layout. I will look into that. But then I'd expect it to do it all the time reliably, and what I'm getting is sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. But…

I know. This is an android problem that seems to be random by device. All my other games have the same problem. It seems like some android devices, at SOME TIMES (but not all) report the keyboard height oddly, so I think the textbox is behind the…

I'm going to PM you with a code.

Hi, thanks for the detailed report... #12: I probably won't fix this because it's just visual crappines... I can't make RwK too nice because of all the legacy code, when I do the sequel I'll try to get closer to dat nintendo quality. #13: Well cr…
