I think I'm technically not allowed to give specifics, per the Steam NDA I signed.

Thank you very much Kyoto! I had intended to keep building on it, but then the technology changed so much so quickly that Solomon (designed for iPhone 1) began to look very dated. I hope you'll stick around for Halloween, when I'll be releasing th…

Hi Shon, The deluxe SK is going to be for everything I can possibly get it on. The release schedule would go like this, though: PC/Mac, Android, iPhone, other stuff. The reason iPhone will be last is because with the other systems I can quickly …

At this time I will only update the games if Apple threatens to pull them for not being updated. Getting them updated is going to be 2-3 days of work because Apple has changed their programming standards so much in the last few years that the sourc…

I have a Hamsterball 2 already in the works. It has an editor and level sharing similar to Robot Wants Kitty. Mostly the issue is I need to finish Hoggy2 and Solomon's Keep HD first... then I'll finish up HB2 as well.
-
It'll be on computer... but remember, while it's completely playable, it's not done. Maybe some of you guys can mod the text files to add some new items in or something to make it fun for yourselves.

Does the Apple remote have anything that resembles a touchpad? Keep plays as a twin-stick shooter (even when played with the keyboard and mouse)... I'm not too familiar with Apple TV, does it have an input that would accomodate that? http://static…

Everyone should watch that video.

www.darkarc.com is where the data used to sit. I still own www.dark-arc.com, but it's an issue of changing the url within the program itself.
-
Yeah, what a miserable few years it's been since that stupid lawsuit. I wish there was some way to countersue him for all this lost time.
-
Yeah-- it's possible to play it as a game, but there's a whole lot not done in it (mostly metagame stuff, and lots of bosses not implemented)... but if you want a Solomon Skill System fix while you're waiting for Keep, it's a good substitute.

iPhone/Android might lag by a few weeks because the levels have to have some small changes to fit the smaller screen. But planning all this year!
-
Hi there, I never actually released it. Tell you what, visit this forum on HALLOWEEN 2016 between 12 noon EST and 12 midnight EST and I'll leave up a temporary link to Solomon's Boneyard Beta...
-
Hi, let me explain what happened... I messed up and lost the domain that it uses to store the data. I went in to try to recompile Solomon with the new domain only to find that Apple had utterly destroyed all code compatibility, and I couldn't get …

Yeah, I saw this. They've already removed one of my games that doesn't get much play (Four Letter Words) but if they actually do pull the Solomons, I am going to take the time it takes (and God Alone Knows how long that will be) to actually get in …

Hey... sorry, I just got that message forward to me in e-mail. Things are going okay. I moved and had a dog die (dogs are family members here, so it's hard) and that slowed me down. Hoggy 2 is almost done, and I'll be setting up a steam greenligh…

Boy my French is rusty, I needed Google Translate. Hoggy 2 is done except for finishing touches, but it'll be for sale on my site for PC/Mac before the end of the month-- unless something goes very wrong.
-
Right now I'm finishing Hoggy 2, and there's nothing much interesting about the screenshots of that. When I get back to Solomon (couple weeks) I'll start them up again. But right now they'd be insanely mundane.
-
Haha... no dates. It won't be out before Hoggy 2 is out. At that time I am going to decide whether it is better to make the Robot Wants Kitty remake (since that one can happen fast) or heavy hit Solomon until it's done. That decision will be a co…

That's a strange bug. The android version was written with Marmalade-- any time you use a third party library, you get glitches that can only be fixed by THEM. So, well, Hoggy 2 will use my own stuff, which has been tested for a year and a half on…

BTW, Rastapoulon, there's a few features to be discovered about monster interactions. For example, try putting a spiked bug on a cloud and bump him off it upside down.
-
Haha Note also that there's a touch-compatible select marquee as well. Simply hold the mouse down.

There IS a level cap in Solomon's Keep, but know what? Between doing Solomon Dark and the new Solomon's Keep with all new level caps, I don't remember what it was. I *think* it's 72 or 75, but it might be 99.

XGL, are you using a touchpad? From the feedback here, I will probably provide an easier way to swap, like via mousewheel, right click, or a keypress.
-
I can do that. Good idea.
-
Pretty cool rastapopoulon... doors always default to closed, but if you place a startup trigger, you can command it to open all doors right at level start. Just do this: Grab a trigger, shake it so it turns blue, and place it. Then double click on…

Brayton: when did it crash? While editing? Testing? When placing an object?

Hi Apple, In this case, to get back under control, find your AppData folder and search it for the folder roaming/hoggy2 and delete (or edit) settings.txt. I'll look into why it's not liking that resolution (if you restart the program, does it size…

A friend tells me there are two things I should make clear: #1: You can drag and grab blocks off the top bar to place them #2: If you place a bumper or cage, put something on TOP of it to make them go into the bumper or cage when you play.

Oh, and... I'm deliberately not telling you how everything works because I want to gauge HOW MUCH tutorial stuff I need to put in based on the questions I get here. It might even be simple enough to understand without any tutorials at all. The onl…
